Logs: None, I never even see an allowed user even TRY to connect
Remote Access: Functional, verified.
NO user on my plex system other than -me- can view the Live TV channels im sharing via comcast.
And its been broken for weeks and I just cant work out why.
I use this as a how-to, to make sure:
My local server has -1- library that these people have access to, that is writable by plex.
Again, I can watch Live TV, but nobody else can.
Ive removed people and re-added them, nothing.
Can anyone help?
Im totally lost on how to debug this.
That doesnât sound likely, because Live TV and DVR is only available to users who are members of your Plex Home. And of all your shared users, only a few are also members of your Plex Home.
Another thought:
If these users have also the ad-supported streaming channels from plex.tv activated on their accounts, they wonât see a media source named âLive TV & DVRâ.
Instead, they need to use âLive TVâ from the bottom of the list. This one combines both the channels via tuner and the streaming channels into one common list and program guide.
