-All- of my users that had Live TV & DVR, have lost it, no clue why

Server Version#: 1.31.1.6733/Web 4.103.2

LibrariesMediaRestrictions
Player Version#: All
Tuner Make/Model: Comcast via CableCard/
HDHomeRun PRIME
Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?: Y
Channel number/Name: All
Logs: None, I never even see an allowed user even TRY to connect
Remote Access: Functional, verified.

NO user on my plex system other than -me- can view the Live TV channels im sharing via comcast.

And its been broken for weeks and I just cant work out why.

I use this as a how-to, to make sure:

My local server has -1- library that these people have access to, that is writable by plex.

Again, I can watch Live TV, but nobody else can.
Ive removed people and re-added them, nothing.

Can anyone help?
Im totally lost on how to debug this. :frowning:

That doesn’t sound likely, because Live TV and DVR is only available to users who are members of your Plex Home. And of all your shared users, only a few are also members of your Plex Home.

And even then you need to explicitly grant each user separately the right to access the live tv feature, in the Restrictions section of their “shared media” https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access

Another thought:
If these users have also the ad-supported streaming channels from plex.tv activated on their accounts, they won’t see a media source named “Live TV & DVR”.
Instead, they need to use “Live TV” from the bottom of the list. This one combines both the channels via tuner and the streaming channels into one common list and program guide.

Yes, I know.

I have home users, have had for years
and now they dont even SEE my tuner in their plex.

I dont think they have the ad-supported streams turned on
but yes, I forgot the name changed to Live TV.

They see all of the baked in sources, but not my ‘Burner-TV’ source of Live TV.

Manage guide sources in the client app maybe?
