There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to set security requirements for users with whom you share your media (e.g. requiring them to use 2FA).

[Feature Request] Enforce 2FA policy on joined users

Just as important as 2FA for my own account, is enforcing the 2FA policy on the users in my server. Are there plans to implement the ability to enforce the 2FA policy so that any users on my server must have this enabled?

There’s also a suggestion discussing an option to manually edit the e-mail that’ll be sent when inviting another user (which I guess is primarily aiming at completely new users).

For those parts, I suggest you comment/vote in the existing threads in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (although the 2nd suggestion is quite dated and doesn’t have any votes of its own right now).

I’m a bit skeptical as for setting their passwords etc. – keep in mind… this isn’t your own account but theirs. Knowing how many users won’t change their passwords, that’ll give you access to quite a lot of what they do and raises the question… why not simply let them set their own password while signing up to Plex? My mom is far from being a technical genius and I walked her through creating her own account in a few minutes, making this a non-issue (for me/her).
