"Allow DTS-HD" broken on a TCL ROKU TV

Hi, I have a TCL 55S535 Tv hooked up via optical to a 5.1 receiver able to decode DD and DTS 5.1, so far all my my movies with DTS-HD 7.1 would play in DTS 5.1 just fine as long as “Allow DTS-HD” option was selected. Today I tried to watch a movie with DTS-HD 7.1 but was received with a message saying that no audio was found while allowing DTS-HD and prompting me to convert it to a compatible format; it’s the same with all the rest of my movies with that audio format, the ones with DTS 5.1 plays just fine though.

Is any one else having a similar problem? I’ll appreciate any help that you could give me

Thank you

I’ve been experiencing very similar problems with the “Allow DTS-HD” option on my TCL Roku TV (55R635) as well. It’s connected to a 5.1 receiver via HDMI eARC and I used to be able to stream movies with DTS-HD 7.1 audio tracks just fine with DTS getting passed through to the receiver.
When I recently tried to play those movies, it gets stuck loading at 33% and trying again a few times before erroring out.
I now have to turn off “Allow DTS-HD” for those movies to work.

Something got broken, I published this same post in reddit and more people said they experienced the same thing, sadly no one from plex has taken notice apparently.
