Either this or a way to convert home users into managed users would be nice.,
I agree, this is very odd. My âmanaged userâ can skip intro and the âhome userâ cannot. All of us (my immediate family) are in the same household. I hope this changes or else I will likely convert the latter to the former.
Itâs now a few month since the button was introduced and I still couldnât use it once. I am using an admin account with Plex Pass and two user accounts without. One user account for my girlfriend and one for me. Both are added as home user.
The âSkip Introâ Button doesnât appear for them since they are not managed users. There is afaik no option to convert the user accounts into managed accounts and I wouldnât want that because there is no Plex Auth for managed accounts which both user accounts make heavy use of.
So a wonderful feature cannot be used by a paying customer.
Please consider to activate the button for home users. Thanks.

What do you mean by that?
When I would give my gf only access to a managed account she would not be able to login to services like Organizr or Ombi with her Plex account since she would not have her own e-mail/password. So I have to chose if I want the skip intro button or plex auth available.
What I did was creating managed users and set a pin for my profile so they donât mess up with my admin account.
For Ombi I created the same user as their profile name.
I am still losing Plex auth by that
I think if you add your gf as a Friend (using her non-paid account) and then promote her to Home Users will enable her to use Pass features and authenticate on Ombi.
By the way, forget buggy Ombi and come to the light side of the force. Install Overseerr and you and your users will be way happier.
What do you mean with âadd as friendâ? She is already a home user and can use pass features like sync or plexamp.
Being just home user is not sufficient to get access to âskip introâ, see the added notice at the top:
Tip! : The ability to skip through television show âintrosâ requires a Plex Pass subscription for Server admin account and the Plex account used in the player app. (https://support.plex.tv/articles/skip-content/)
Therefore this request to reconsider since managed users are not a sufficient replacement for home users.
hi would anyone know if there would be a solution to fix the intro ski problem after having reorganized my file it makes the intro skip move it is no longer in the right place of the video when i do new analysis nothing is moving there is no solution for risette and then to redo an analysis?
