+1 this is not useless, most people i know set the play speed on learning videos depending on how much you know about it already between 1.0-2.0 in .1 steps. Personally I use 1.4-1.8x for most learning videos, sometimes up to 2.0, keeping the voice pitch… really looking for a solution to this

a +1 doesnt seem to be enough, you need to click on the vote button!
Maybe if enough people upvote this it will be implemented after five years since it was requested in 2013
