Yes, it would be awesome if multiple users of a shared library could be able to edit and update metadata.
Yes, Admin should have the same authority to create additional admins just like what is available using Windows 10 and macOS Catalina. Admins would be responsible for anything that happens to their PMS.
I can see this has been asked about before, but Plex have never given an official response other than “No it is not currently supported.”
Are there any plans to ever support this? I manage a few Plex servers for friends (with their own on-prem servers). For convenience it’s preferable for them to be the account holder for that server, for Plex Pass and easy sign-in while travelling etc. However, this makes managing their servers a total nightmare. Plex is fantastic, but I am kind of surprised that it lacks such a fundamental feature.
Please give us an option to assign admin access to other Plex users.
