Hi,
I’m on a plex server managed by a user with a plex pass. He added some accounts, like mine, but want to give us the right to edit metadatas (covers, descriptions) and also delete.
We don’t find any option to give some users those options, or promote a user as admin.
Is it possible ?
No, this is not possible. Only the server admin is allowed to make any changes.

No chance to get that kind of feature ? I’m probably not the first to ask ?
I cannot tell about future plans, sorry.
These are already posted as feature requests
Managed users should be allowed to delete content. For those of us that are not hoarders, content is deleted immediately after viewing the vast majority of the time. If managed users were given this permission, my family members (which are managed users) would be able to login to clients as themselves vs having to login as the admin user. This feature fits nicely into the managed user permissions as mocked up below.

I would like to be able to give one (or more) of my managed users Admin Rights to be able to edit and delete [mod-edit: duplicate → Allow managed users to delete content (tv shows/videos/movies) ] videos from my library.
Normally I would just give them the PIN for the “King” account, but due to the fact that there is photo backup for a few other accounts, so for privacy’s sake…I’d like to limit access to that account to only myself.
thanks, the post can be closed
