Allow managed users to delete content?

Hi,

I have multiple managed users under my Plex account. I found out that they can no longer delete media (movies, shows, etc).

Is there a permission somewhere to allow managed users to delete content? Admin user can delete media without problems.

Jc

Only the admin can delete content.

And is it a feature that is in development list?

I have no idea.

I want this too

I personally would also like to allow certain shared users permissions to delete content from certain libs.

This would be great. Sometimes I have duplicates that don’t even work. Rather than have someone try to tell me and have me do it, I would like to be able to allow individuals delete content.

When you get time I would like to see this as well, as an option per managed user.

Use Case: We have a Parent (admin) and Child account. Most shows are listed in the Child account and all other shows are listed in the Parent account (no Saturday Night Live for the kids). As we spend most of our time using the Child account, it would be nice to be able to delete the shows that we watch under both the Child and Parent accounts.

Thanks!

… I just… what? you want to give your friends and family (allbeit select ones) free reign to delete your content…

I would like that to. I have folders for recorded TV (Dvr).
Would be nice if they could delete it themselves after watching. Ofcourse it would be nice if they could schedule recordings themselves also… but it seems focus on DVR i slowing down so I hope these features are not lost in the hunt for “the next big subscription trap”

As of now managed users need anyway the admin password to log in. The admin password is enough (WITHOUT PIN even if you have a pin for admin) to login as admin: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/267604/apps-logon-with-main-plex-user .

BOOOOOOO!
Me no likey!

I am like LOTR… ONE ADMIN TO RULE THEM ALL!
