Allow more time when scanning folders

ok i started having this issue my pc is connected to my nas and it puts the disks to sleep after a certain amount of time but plex keeps saying the files missing as it only searches for whatever amount of secs then because the drives not fully woken woken

is there anyway to make it look for a longer set of tiime before moving onto another folder

i am sure i seen someone else have this problem but unsure of the fix

If Plex Media Server is running all the time, configure the NAS to not spin down the drives.

If Plex Media Server is not running all the time:

  • Spin up the drives before starting PMS
  • Configure Settings → Library → Scan my library periodically to an interval shorter than the drive spin down interval.
