I’d like to have a way to connect with my friends using my Plex share by recommending certain movies either in my own share or the free Plex movies that appears on the home page when they log into Plex and are connected to my server. Highlight a movie of the week for example, or something I just think everyone would see.
There is already a request for this feature. It’s better to add your vote to an existing thread than to split votes across several.
In reviewing there I think mine might be different. I’d like to actually be able to highlight some content to my family with a “what’s worth seeing this week” section with links to shows in the share. This would persist in its own home screen section, not a message that pops up. Say I think a movie is good for our political state and I want to highlight idiocracy or something… or Being There.
Preferably be able to write a little message with it , but it is a Plex home screen widget that can be ordered and around or even hidden, but it is not a pop up message I send to single or multiple of my family members - it’s for al of them…
