Allow us to edit posters of content we add to our watchlist, some of the default covers are ugly.
Agree, but more specifically where we have a custom asset already set, it should honour that asset, not fall back to the default.

One more reason not to update to latest android tv builds. 1 the messed up animations, 2 this Watchlist thing… hours i spent on changing cover art.
Well, I understand why this happens. Technically, when you add an item to a watchlist, you are actually just “Favorite!”-ing the version of that movie on their own movie database site, watch.plex.tv. Then, when you view the watchlist item, it will display their metadata for the item, and then search out all legal site options for viewing options and look at your own library to see if it is available there.
This is why the “Watched” status in your library does not translate through to the watchlist. It’s why the watchlist doesn’t clear out as you watch a show/movie. It’s why the metadata for the item does not match the data in your own library (especially if you edit the description/title, and most noticeably if you change the movie poster).
