Allowing longer titles to be visible in plex overview

Is it possible to let Plex show longer names (in the web interface) for titles?
Now only the first 15 characters of the title are displayed. As it happens, I have a lot of video’s that start with the same name.

If this isn’t possible, could you add this as a feature? (i.e. allowing users to expand the title display to two rows instead of one)

I am using Plex for Android on my Smart TV V4.15.0.464. I also wish the title would display more characters or scroll the full name as an Example I have 8 Harry Potter Movies and they all only show “Harry Potter an…” this is also true for the overview page of the movie where there is plenty of real estate to show the full title. Maybe the title should be expanded to two lines?

Does anyone know a solution to this problem, or isn’t there a solution yet?

The amount of characters visible in Poster mode is more or less restricted by the width of the poster.
Switch to ‘Details’ or ‘List’ mode.

Yeah but I love the poster mode.
List mode is to compact, details mode is just too “detailed” (the items list is just too long when using details mode)

Unfortunately, Poster mode is of very little help for name length of my videos, some videos are foreign or custom and the Poster isn’t descriptive.

A solution would be very nice that allows for more length or two lines on the name of the video. This is one of the prevalent nags with an otherwise excellent program.

Until then, I just run everything in List Mode. Much more boring but way more useful and functional.

As an addendum, it appears “List Mode” is not an option on a Nexus Player and the AndroidTV version of Plex.

I couldn’t locate the edit option on the forum post, my apologies for a duplicate post

I support this. I love poster mode, but for my movies in a series it is atrocious for actual use. A bunch of movies in a row going: Harry Potter and the …, Harry Potter and the …, Harry Potter and the …
The poster makes it clear it is a Harry Potter movie, at a glance, but then he already knew that. The problem is that the poster is too small to easily make out the subtitle.

Best solution at it stand now is probably to rename series to go with just their subtitle, while sorting by the entire thing, but that is not great for use in the list view where you do not have a giant Harry Potter poster above them.
