Many of my files have really long names, sometimes with a lot of the beginnings of the file names the same.
Since Plex only displays a short, one line for the titles of files and truncates the remainder, I have many, many, many files that I cannot differentiate in the tiled/thumbnail views.
Similarly, the “search suggestions” as we type and enter searches in the search fields is often useless to me on inspection, showing me a bunch of files whose names start the same and truncating with the ellipsis.
Mousing over each one for a tooltip is ridiculous and a conspicuous waste of users’ time. Also, as a solution for mobile apps, it doesn’t work at all.
If the file name is long, show it.
