There’s already a rather popular suggestion discussing to officially support AMD GPUs for hw-accelerated transcoding (putting aside it’ll already work for a number of them but isn’t officially tested/supported by Plex). I recommend you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid cannibalizing votes from that existing thread.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect about your suggestion, I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
