An ability for Plex to compare previously recorded Movies and mark them in LiveTV EPG as recorded

I record movies using Plex DVR which I then add to my Movie folder
Is there a tool that can use the index of the movies and compare them to upcoming movies in the DVR TV EPG
Plex then puts a marker on a movie that is already in the movie folder

I consider what you’re asking for has already been discussed in this existing feature suggestion thread.

Show in DVR Guide, which movies/episodes are already in library

For making it easier to choose, what to record, it would be nice, if in guide it would show what you already have in your libraries. And also like there is an other poll for show what is already in recording schedule to avoid duplicate recordings. Also add “get info” for items that it shows already in library (it would be fast to check if previous version is better/similar quality/or worse and you could choose if you want to record that new one from TV).

I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion, I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
