This has absolutely worked on Android TV, hence why I have been posting about this. We are now year two into this bug and now that I have more collections then ever this is really getting irritating.
I am not sure if Music was the same but now that is even worse then Collections when navigating out of a album on a Artist page.
I experience this as well. Very annoying to click on movies trying to decide what to watch and getting sent back to the top of the screen every time I hit back. Looks like this issue has been around a while. Hopefully they get around to fixing it eventually.
This is getting kind of ridiculous. How do we get anyone at Plex to even notice this, much less fix it
Back again been scrolling through a large collection and you guessed it, to into one to read a synopsis, watch a trailer, back out of it and get bounced back to the top of the collection.
Chime on guys it’s been over 2 years since this UI bug was introduced.
@ChuckPa can you please route this to the team for a fix?
Back for my monthly bump, now that you have added a splash screen with an annoying sounding logo maybe someone could have a look at this two year old broken feature please?
Seriously how do we get the team to even respond to this?
@BigWheel any chance you can escalate this please? Being able to browse library is one of the more important quality of life things.

Thanks hopefully Plex is able to distract a dev from streaming services integrations for a bit to fix this.

Been creating more collections in music and have just added 40 albums to a collection and yep this reminded me to come here and post about this again.
It’s been a year and still no Plex devs paying attention

I see my Android app for some new UI designs for the buttons in screen yet this 2 year old bug is still hanging around?
Do the Devs not have a bug tracker that they work off and close things down?
They do. But I doubt they want to fix these bugs.
I have the same issue with my android phone. Huawei p smart, Android-Version 9. Plex app version 9.20.0.806. The problem is also the following:
Whenever I’m in a collection scrolling through pictures then click on a picture to see it in full display then click the back button it takes me back to the top of the collection list instead of the picture I clicked on. It looses the scroll position.
Basically the same as with movie collections over here.
I didn’t see see how, where I can create a bug report to plex. The page https://support.plex.tv only refers to this forum.
Plex is aware of this and have been for a long time
I’m afraid it’s one of those bugs that they can’t fix without breaking 20 other things in the UI
I don’t see how something like this would just get ignored for so long otherwise
I have some collections with 500 or 1000 videos in it. I’ve had to basically abandon android tv because of this
