Whenever I’m in a collection scrolling through movies then click on a movie to read details about the movie then click the back button it takes me back to the top of the collection list instead of the movie I clicked on
I would expect the app to remember where I was.

Unfortunately, Plex has become a bug fest and has gotten worse and worse. They have a few guys running around like nuts trying to read and relay all this crap. Sadly, must updates fix crap no one has ever heard of and major bugs remain after years. I can’t tell you how long finished episodes on Android aren’t marked as finished on the server.
It’s nuts. Things like this, play/unplayed status not being marked, not being able to access downloads/synces without a data signal, etc have been around since the beginning of time, but they will repair crap no one has ever heard of. HOW DO WE GET THE SAME BUGS THAT HAVE HUNG AROUND FOR YEARS FIXED???

I appreciate it. I’m just confused as to what the priorities are for what is fixed. As I stated the same major bugs just keep lingering forever, I’ve supplied log after log, read the same things from others, and then an update comes out and the log talks about fixing the issue with app pausing for a millisecond on two peoples app in California when there is a solar storm. I kid around, but it’s just perplexing. I do appreciate always seeing you respond though.
Just checking in - what’s the team’s take on the priority of this? It keeps being annoying when browsing collections.
Im beginning to give up. I keep looking at the update notes each time and have never seen any of the issues they are working on fixing. These huge, painfully obvious issues are just left in. HIRE MORE HELP FOR THE DEVELOPEMENT TEAM ALREADY. I dont need this discovery crap…Apple TV, JustWatch, etc already do this crap. We need this service to do what its primary intent is. This isnt Netflix or Apple…this is a personal media orginizer and streamer…worry about that first!

Just here to give this a bump, this issue has been lingering for over a year and I can’t believe it would take that long to fix. Is this on the radar at all?
I really want jellyfin to get better because this is ridiculous. I know I only pay $45/year but this level of inattention to small customer bugs is only something that large tech companies do.
This is not just on android mobile apps. I don’t think this ever worked right on any android TV apps either. Not since I’ve had collections anyway

The only app I’ve found where this works correctly is HTPC
