Android app hangs at splash screen for 40-70 seconds then works fine?

I’m on the latest server and Android player version using my Nvidia Shield and all was going fine until about a month ago. The Android app seems to be hanging on all our home devices for at least 40 up to 70 or so seconds at the splash screen before I can see the user profiles.

Once it gets to the user login screen everything seems to be working fine and I have no problems but everyone in my house and my kids are complaining that it takes forever to load and they are right. It’s happening on all our devices from newer Samsung Tablets to my S21 Ultra. The web interface is snappy as usual and only takes a couple seconds from plex.tv to the user login to the home screen. It’s just the Android app.

Anyone else have this issue lately?
