Love the app, but recently the pictures/descriptions of the movies or tv shows don’t download unless opening the individual show/movie inside the app. Then, I don’t get images or descriptions pushed out through email the next morning. Any idea what might be causing this?

It doesn’t sound like anything I’ve encountered before. Perhaps try signing out of your Plex account in the app settings and then signing back in. If the issue was in connecting to your server, that may resolve it. Has anything changed in your setup recently? Plex server version? Change in network connectivity?
Absolutely love this app, it saves me so much time everyday so thank you!
One feature I’ve been wondering about for a while with my server is the ability to see who has played what, a database with a watched history for shared users so that I don’t have to keep messaging them to check they’ve watched something before I delete it e.g. Sortable columns with:
I know there are desktop addons which people have created, but would it be possible to add this feature to NuVue? Perhaps make it an option a user can enable or disable for those that don’t want to utilise it (Phone memory low etc), or even a premium feature. It would be awesome to have it all in one app similar to Plexpy / Plexwatch etc, so you don’t have to sit at a desktop/remote in everytime to check things.

If the issue was in connecting to your server, that may resolve it. Has anything changed in your setup recently? Plex server version? Change in network connectivity?

I have uninstalled/installed the app a couple of times, it’s scanning the library’s without issue, but no emails are being sent. Any ideas?

Are you just referring to the e-mail notifications, or is the app not showing on-device notifications either? What are your notification forwarding settings? For testing purposes, I have mine set to send me an email daily, and it comes though just fine.

The app is showing on phone notifications fine. Let’s me know when anything is added to the library’s, and what’s currently playing. My notification forwarding settings are: Grouping - by Library, Frequency - Daily, Send Time - 7:00 AM, Recipients - Every user is selected.

Email notification did push out this morning. I’ll keep it to Single Email for a while, and them try to change it back.

Don’t know how this App went by me but… No iOS version just made my all tear-eyed.
Would without a doubt pay monthly for this app on my iOS devices.
@rwhapham Any way we can add extra email address to the notification list, or is this something you’ve thought of adding? I have a couple of people that would like their spouse to get the notifications as well.

I’ll have to give that one some thought again. I originally decided against it for a couple of reasons. First, the email associated with a Plex account has already been validated, so I really don’t need to worry too much about making sure what you enter is a “good” email. And second, and probably more important, is that I didn’t want to give the ability to “spam” random people with email messages. If you can only email to your shared users, then they should have a pretty good idea where the email is coming from and why. It may actually be less effort for the couple of users that want it to set up some sort of auto-forward in their email clients than for me to implement a suitable and complete solution.

I get it, definitely don’t want people marking the stuff as “spam”. Something I thought about, and figured I’d ask. If adding extra email addresses ever becomes a feature that would be nice, but still really happy with app overall.
