Just got my daughter a new phone, Samsung A17 5G (SM-A176B) and Plex doesn’t come up in the Play Store. If I get a link to it, it says “This app is available only for your other devices” It’s a current model phone, more than capable (especially compared to some of the other older devices she has). It is on the latest firmware (OneUI 8.0, Android 16, patch level 1 Nov 2025).
Just wondering why it’s basically saying not compatible with the phone? Is it too new, and plex hasn’t updated since it was released? Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction!
FYI she has the app unlock purchased, and I also have lifetime plex pass on the server.
