Any chance that we will be allowed to view maybe the next five/last five tracks or something of the playlist any time soon? I love the functionality in the regular app, but it’s not there in the Android Auto-adapted display - and sometimes it’s nice to just see the next few tracks and grab a favorite.
Particularly since I discovered that agressively tapping “next” can actually crash the app.
The issue has since been patched out, accidentally it seems. At least, I haven’t had it happen in a good long while. I made this post a long time ago. I’m glad you noticed it!
Other stuff has cropped up though… AA seemingly forgetting that I’m in the middle of a playlist and forcing me to start it over is the primary one I’ve noticed.
Lately Plex also pauses playback when I switch from the navigation and back in to PlexAmp - which can be a bit frustrating. This is on a pixel 3, so I don’t think it’s device specific but it may be.
I can live with the above, but the ability to see, at least a little, of the coming playlist would be awesome… the ability to search within-playlist would be God-tier. (With voice command, of course… less tappy-tappy while driving.) But then again, maybe I’m one of the only people with a 36 hour playlist for my commute.
Just wanted to chime in and +1 the play queue in android auto request! All of the other music apps have it where the star is on the “now playing” screen. If that star can be moved to the right side and the play queue added in its place, that would be perfect!
