The release notes for 7.21.0.12128-beta indicate an improvement in the “Watch from Start” function, which is working well for me since I installed this latest beta. It starts in the correct location, and all of the navigation works. Very nice!
I don’t know if the issue I found with “Watch Live” is known about and expected to still be a problem in this release: When I select “Watch Live” on a show that is already recording, it does correctly go to live. However, the progress bar makes it appear that it started from the beginning, and the “Jump To Start” button is not available. Pause and play work, but if I click on the jump to end button the video freezes and I can only hit stop to exit.
I took one for the team and tested this on a soap opera. Ugh.
Hi there Thanks for the feedback and glad it’s mostly working The issue you raised is actually a known issue that we are looking to improve. Did you see this every time? or was it just for some things here and there? We are actually working on some bigger improvements to Live TV playback in general and some of our server updates are improving the information the apps receive to better understand where to start playback from so hopefully, we will have all these sorted very soon. We just wanted to get these fixes out as early as possible to help improve the feature in the meantime. Appreciate the testing and comments here

Thank you for the reply and update. “Watch From Start” is a primary use case for me, so it is great that it was prioritized!
The “Watch Live” behavior is consistently repeatable for me, and I’ve replicated it using this beta on two android devices. I did find that if I was patient and did nothing (for all of about 10 seconds ) after selecting “Watch Live” that then the “Jump To Beginning” button would light up. At that point “Jump to beginning” does work correctly, taking me to the beginning of the recording. However, if I then click the “Jump forward 30 seconds” or “Jump to end” button it freezes the video similar to my initial report.
