Available on Google Play, beta access can now be joined (or removed) directly from the Google Play store listing.

WHATS NEW:

  • Player: support for multi-part media.

FIXES:

  • Preplay: Artist TV was missing.
  • Player: crash when playing transcoded video with selected MOV_TEXT subtitle.
  • Player: don’t display post play when repeating video.
  • Live TV: improve tune times when switching channels.
  • Live TV: switching channels could be slower than expected.
  • Preplay thumbnail was low resolution when navigating via “Go to Show”.
  • Cast: potential crash when resuming the app.
  • Player: app crashes while trying to play a slowmotion/timelapse video
  • Library: some hub items could be duplicated.
  • Player: exiting playback during split-screen would bring Plex to the foreground.
  • App could crash when tuning a Live TV program before the UI is ready.
  • Fix issue with overflow menu not fully expanding on landscape mode.
  • Dimmed background fallback to blur not working correctly.
  • [Mobile] Mini player could get in a state in which it was not possible to close it.
  • [Mobile] Player: pressing the skip intro button would lead to the controls becoming visible.
