Android Player 8.1.0.17759 beta; cannot control from device when casting

Latest Beta version (8.1.0.17759) can cast to my Chromecast and play selected file just fine, but the screen to control the cast (play/pause, FF/RW) is just a blurry screen. I can double tap the sides of the screen to go forward/back 10 seconds, but I can’t pause or scan to a spot from my device because the buttons aren’t there. Notification shade seems fine.

Device is Samsung Tab A (2019) running Android 9.0. Previous versions we’re fine. Logs attached in case they help.

Updating to 8.1.0.17833 seems to have fixed this particular issue.
