I’m still having a Problem on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in that if I start any sort of media (Music, playlist, podcast etc) when I have my phone attached via Bluetooth to my car and that playback is interrupted by any thing (Phone call, player pause etc) upon resumption of the playback after a period the playback mutes and stops. This period seems to have something to do with the phone going into power save mode, because if I wake the phone up with a button press, or screen swipe, the playback resumes.
If I stop the playback ‘queue’ and restart the playback, the fault goes away until the next time the playback is interrupted.
I had previous problems whereby instead of muting the player would stutter. I had previously submitted requested logs, but it seems to have been overlooked. See thread.
I am running the latest Server and Player Betas, although this problem has existed for the last five versions at least.
Hoping the bods of the code can help me out. Thanks
Hello, I’m sorry I cannot help with your problem but I can help you improve your chances of getting help from someone qualified on this matter.
First of all you should always specify the exact version of your player (i.e 7.23.0.12902 for me) and server (i.e 1.18.0.1913 for me) and not “latest beta at this day” because during testing periods there could be a new beta version released every few day (the 2nd, 7th, and 9th of october for instance) and it could hard to keep track of every single one of them, even for the plex team, and next because it will be faster and easier for them to not have to compare the date of the post with the releases dates to find the one you’re talking about.
Secondly the problem you quoted on the other thread doesn’t seem to produce the same symptoms as this one, and considering that this is a new thread regarding a entirely new problem, I encourage you to systematically take 5 sec after the bug to save the log to your device/cloud (OneDrive, GoogleDrive, Dropbox) and later add the logs you seem relevant.
