Android PlexAmp : Default music app

If Soundcloud has ever been used since the phone has been turned on,
even if the app has been closed from Recents,
and PlexAmp is open in Recents,
pressing play on the Bluetooth headset typically opens Soundcloud and starts playing.

The only way to prevent this is to Force Stop Soundcloud.

How do I choose which app gets the headset controls priority without needing to use Force Stops?

My understanding of this is that it’s fully under Android’s control. There’s not much that can be done from Plexamp to prevent this behaviour.

Bluetooth controls are given to whichever app was most recently active, even if the app is no longer running.
