This is how the lyrics are displayed in the current Android TV client, the lyrics are blocking the album cover.
I suggest putting the lyrics next to the album cover, for example, like this. The lyrics are easier to read and won’t get in the way of the album cover.
I mentioned this 3 years ago. I had a conversation with a developer, but nothing ever came of it. Hopefully this will draw some attention.
If you have a ‘busy’ album cover, the lyrics are illegible. The Roku app does put the lyrics beside the cover, which is clearly better.
The music playback interface on Android is atrocious, took some getting used to after moving from tvOS which was so elegant. In real need of a refresh.
Yeah, why don’t give all OS unified interface, that would be nice, at least unify the interface of all Smart TVs.
