Hi, I’ve been using Plex and have been pretty happy with it for the most part.
Though I have had an issue from the start while using it on my Sony Android TV.
When I start playing a video, 98% of the time, it just shows the loading circle forever and have to hit back then play and it works fine.
It’s not a major issue but it gets really annoying after some time. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Check the forum. This bug has been reported widely across Android players for a while now. Apparently there should be an older version apk that does not suffer from this bug, not entirely sure. I haven’t looked for it.
I looked through the forum, couldn’t find exactly what I was experiencing.
So if it’s the android app that doesn’t work that great, does the Roku (or any other media box) app(s) work better?

Yeah, this is similar to the issue of starting a video, and it immediately stops and goes back to the previous page. Sometimes it stops, sometimes you get the spinner. The devs still haven’t been able to track down the culprit.
I just posted this about 2 weeks ago without any reply. I have this same problem with my Nvidia Shield.
