Decoding ability on Shield - native Plex vs Plex via Kodi

I ‘invested’ in a Shield as it is often referred as the #1 media box that can do ‘everything’. As part of which I have been migrating my media to H265 to save space and as the Shield (and the MiBox, and Bravia tv I have) are capable of decoding these it was a no brainer (apart from the CPU time to do the encoding!).
