Can you Use Animated Movie Posters In Plex?

Doesn’t appear so. I just tried uploading it to Plex Web, it lets you select it as the image, but only takes the first frame. That was really the only client I thought it would work in anyway. Sorry.

In my opinion, it’s cool “in theory”, but I can’t image in my library of 1000 movies having all of them as animated gifs. Would get a little crazy. :slight_smile:

It seems Plex displays the only the first frame of gif. Cool idea thou ! Where did you get those animated posters from?

I made some of them,but the guys at Kodi.Tv Forums gave me permission to share them. You can she them all here.

yes it does get crazy,but its just option for people that want a change.
