-1 vote for me. Bad idea to spend resources and time on this. Itā€™s a cheap device, with barely capability to play any HD content. I would spend focus & time on the other apps.

(for people info; I do have a Nintendo Switch myself)

+1 for my sister, who is currently considering different console options. Her daughter wants Minecraft but also likes Animal Crossing (which doesnā€™t exist yet) but the problem is the lack of streaming options on Switch.

Iā€™m glad $300 is cheap for you. I would consider this an expensive device. It costs almost as much as a full blown Xbox or Play Station Console. My Android tablet is 1/3rd the price of that. The Switch definitely has the capability to play HD content, although 4K is out of the question, it can definitely do 1080p with ease.

Plex Lifetime User, I actually use my Nintendo switch in my car strapped to a headrest for my kids to play games while on road trips. I Would love to be able to download some shows via a plex app for them to be able to navigate to while I drive. I did hear hulu and netflix support was coming to the switch but not sure on when the apps will release.

Just another perspective Thank you for entertaining the idea hopefully you can make it happen.

Lifetime User here as well, would love to see Plex support on the switch as well. I use it for long distance flights with Wifi (15+ hours) and being able to access my Plex library would be awesome!

Lifetime user.
Switch has become the only portable media device I really use anymore. Its the reason iā€™m paying for hulu live. would love to have plex on the device so i can switch off hulu live. Also, plex has the music portion that would be a great fit in the switch lineup!
