Hello sul_nam, I had the same problem. I tried a cheap android phone, but on android plex doesnt play photos. So I enden up with a raspberry with rasplex (openpht) http://www.rasplex.com connected to a cheap hdmi display. Best regards, Stefan

On my android devices (and I tried a lot) it was never possible to play a photo slideshow!

I have seen picture frames with DLNA Support before. Never used them (nor have I used DLNA in Plex) Seems like that should work. The only problem I can think of is I believe Plex disables DLNA if you are in a Plex home.

It doesn’t mention Plex compatibility in the app description.
