A really helpful new feature that would make many users happy would be a a Plex Slideshow app (for android and iOS) or integration into the native Plex App so users can have a tablet set aside as a digital picture frame that would circulate all random pictures or certain selected files/photos. This functionality would be really nice as also a rotating slideshow live background or screensaver for a tablet or mac/pc as well and could be integrated into a the Plex app. The Digital photo frame feature would be a great addition to a already awesome server software. Thanks for the consideration and hope to see new features as mentioned in the near future.
Yep this would be cool, and would make good use of old tablets. Unfortunately slideshows don’t even work on the native iOS app.

I’ve been glancing around this morning to see if a Digital Photo Frame exists, but couldn’t spot anythig obvious that confirmed usage/intrgration with Plex 
I’ve used Plex (on a Synology DS918+) for many years now and have enjoyed it’s progression during that time.
During this ongoing COVID Lockdown I’ve setup a video channel for family aroud the world to contribute video content of their own family experiences and we’ve presented this channel to my 92yr old Grandmother in Ireland who can now sit in front of her Smart TV and ‘tune in’ to her growing family of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
FYI - I have a Dropbox and Google share running with Cloud Sync on Synology and when family share their content via the above, Cloud Sync picks up the video and presents it to a folder that Plex scans - I only have to manually set file names and add some cursory description text and all is good.
I’d hoped to do something similar with photos but to a standalone Digital Frame that was driven by Plex.
