Any way (or program) to see which items in my library does not have preview thumbs?

I have recently noticed that some of my files are broken and can not be played. But I have a lot of stuff so I was thinking of a way to find potentially broken files.

I was thinking that seeing which files Plex has not generated preview thumbs for would be perfect for this, since all of my files should have them by now.

So, is there any way to do this? I know you can see this per file via the xml but I’m looking for a way to see a list of some kind.

Export library with WebTools NG in highest detail level.
The column “Part Indexed” contains “sd” if there are thumbnails

That’s perfect. Thanks!

Actually, @OttoKerner , do you also know if WebTools can show which files have subtitles embedded (not burned into) in the video stream?

They show up in Plex as “unknown (closed captions)” and in the more info section it calls it EIA_608.

I’m getting rid of those subs, but I’m having a hard time locating them.

Not that I’m aware of. Maybe CCextractor or mediainfo can do it.

Come to think of it: maybe you can use the ExportTools module of WebTools to produce a list and find those videos which have EIA_608 subtitles.
But I think I don’t have any samples of these in my own library, so I can’t test it.
See if you can find the info if you export the library with the highest detail level.

In case you or anyone else want to know, it is actually possible to see this information too in the export. It’s under Subtitle codec. Thanks once more.
