I think I know the answer to this, and it’s No, but thought I’d ask. While it’s a step forward that there is finally a way to manually add tags, it’s still not really usable to me without being able to select a bunch of photos and add a single tag to all. Or, given that I have other more flexible tools for actually managing and tagging photos, being able to import photos with their pre-existing tags. Does anyone know if any of this is possible? Thanks.

Apologies for the online noise – I did further searching and came across a how-to on editing tags with multiple selections (Thanks, beckfield!). And other discussions on the desire for tag-importing from Lightroom, etc. (I use MediaPro, myself). Would still be interested in any wisdom people have on how to actually be efficient on getting tags into Plex. I want to be able to use Plex for photos, but not if I have to invent a whole new workflow to be able to select a group of photos for display!
We don’t currently support importing existing tags from metadata but it’s definitely something we want to add going forward.

Ok, thanks. It’s a showstopper for me re using Plex as a Photos server, which I would dearly like to do.
