Any way to restrict a Friend without applying a Pin to my User?

I added my first Friend to my Plex Home last night. I was surprised when he inquired as to which user he should select. I asked him to select mine and was shocked to find out he had access to all my content and watched/on deck status. Now I trust that he wont, but he could watch some of my shows and muck up where I am up to, and other shenanigans.

If I am to have friends in my Plex Home, does that mean I need to configure PINs for my account and managed accounts in the Home? If so that is ridiculous!

I found I can remove him from my home without removing him as a friend. He hasn’t tested for me yet but I think I’m on the right track now. Did I somehow screw up and make him a member of my home rather than just a friend?

Yes.
You must not invite friends from ‘MyHome’.
Instead, go to ‘Friends’

Yes, but he is actually my friend so I put that under the category of ‘other shenanigans’ as he wouldn’t do that.
