My TV just updated to 4.15.2 and I was anxiously awaiting the grid guide to show up, but to no avail.
Server is on 1.18.2.2058
Any word on when this might be included? It makes watching Live TV near impossible as I can never find what I am looking for.

I too am waiting for this. Getting a little frustrating that most other devices have this feature. Like you said, it is literally impossible to use Live TV on a Samsung TV.

Do you have a Smart phone or a tablet, a good work around for now?
I do but its not quite the same though and not very easy for other household members to use.

I was trying to figure out if there are any plans to add the Live Tv Guild feature to the Samsung Smart TVs. I have all the up to date software on my plex server and tv app. My tv is also up to date. I new to this whole Plex community and was looking for some insight into this topic

The Samsung app already supports the guide. If you are referring to the TV Guide style grid, then no, that isn’t supported yet.
However, there are numerous issues with the current guide that have been posted.

The Plex windows app has a nice TV Guide, and nice player. I was going to switch from using Emby on my Samsung smart tv, but since there’s no live tv capability in the Plex for Samsung TV app, it is useless to me.
Am I missing something? This seems like a basic feature Plex should have in v1.0.
I just got a new Samsung TV. the PLEX app does not even have Guide listed at the top of the TV/DVR screen. Only has Recommended and DVR Schedule. This is a serious omission as every other TV, Roku, and Firestick PLEX app has this. What gives?? Is there a fix date? BIG PROBLEM

There is a major lack of consistency in features between apps for the different platforms.
The Plex app on Apple TV Gen4 has the grid guide for live TV, but does not have the ability to delete recordings
The Plex app on my Samsung 4k TV from 2019 has the ability to delete recordings, but does not have a grid guide for live TV.
I would really like to see the app for Samsung get the grid guide for live TV while keeping the function to delete recordings, and I would like to see the Apple TV add the function to delete recordings while keeping the grid guide for live TV.
