PMP currently has the grid guide functionality for Live TV when in desktop mode, but not in TV mode. Is using it in desktop mode an option for you?

I am also missing this functionality when using the Samsung TV client. It is astounding that it is missing completely. It is the only useful way to find shows for me so I can set recordings.
I find some of these development decisions incredible. Developers need to think more about how users might use their software and not just develop based on the narrow window of their own use and routines.

It should be standard throughout (all clients and when running the desktop client in TV mode.)

I too want this functionality [grid Guide in TV mode] .
My issue is that in Desktop mode, you must use a mouse to use the Guide . There is no way to select a program and mark it for recording just using a remote control. In TV mode, most everything is driven by hot-key combinations and I can program these into the Flirc.
I find this a frustrating situation and I request that it be resolved sooner rather than later.
That was why the original outcry when plex said they were dropping pmpā¦ the replacemts had no tv mode.
Now they just need to update pmp tv mode to match features of pc mode
