With 110TB on Windows and nothing has ever gone missing, I’m kinda sceptical.
I find that highly unlikely.

Well, how do you explain hundreds of random titles across 8 hard drives going “poof” and disappearing? As a 43-year software engineer watching M$ b.s. over the years it’s the only reasonable explanation.
Keep in mind that when M$ invented Windows 10, and all it’s scanning and watcher tech, they pushed parts of that back to Windows 7 and 8. They scan and track everything you have, do, go, etc. so they can discreetly delete whatever they want. And M$ is known for deleting software and data and not telling the user - especially on Windows 10, which unfortunately I have to use every day as a engineer.
