Your server certificate is stuck in “Generating” status.
We’ve seen this happen before. It shouldn’t happen.
Operations is looking at it now.
I’ll let you know as soon as they either reset it manually or fix it
Would you restart the server and check it please?
Operations found something they didn’t like, reset your certificate, and are now going to address the root problem.

Hello ChuckPa, I’m having the same certificate problem, from plex console error message is: "CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> ". Could you please investigate and let me know how to proceed? Thanks in advance!
Same problem here after I moved my plexcache to a different mount and had to wipe the cache. Now I get the cert rate limit as well. How can I fix this?

@ChuckPa Thank you so much! I can finally access app.plex.tv. Now I need to work on fixing my remote access, but certificate issue definitely helped me a lot to reach the app! Thanks again

I’ve just chatted with the operations team.
They deployed a support tool which now runs in the background and monitors for these situations.
Anything that is stuck for more than 1 hr will be automatically handled.

I’ve just gone combing through my log file to find I’ve hit the same error.
I’m planning on keeping the server offline for over 24h as you mentioned before but you also touched on some people’s servers acting “weird” and as I recently transferred my W10 server to Linux I’m a bit concerned there might be something else afoot here. I’m hoping to get some manual intervention juust in case

I still saw a few errors in my logs, but everything’s working perfectly and hopefully it’ll stay that way!
