I’ve been trying to come up with a way to utilize the efficient hardware transcoding of the NVidia Shield semi-externally to Plex. It is easy enough to send new media through to Plex, especially now that we have Marshmallow, but what I haven’t found is how to activate transcoding/optimization via the API, and then grab the resultant file. Does anyone have a solution for this?
