Apple Devices / Player Name

So I just upgraded both my partner/my iPads and noticed that the player name are both showing iPad instead of the device name.

I noticed this thread RE Apple TV: Apple TV - Device Name - Unable to Adjust

How has this not been resolved yet either by:

  • a configured setting in the player
  • chasing approval from Apple?

Love Plex (the product) but Plex (the team) is such a disappointment. Gave up on this one forever ago. Thanks for trying to bring it back tho!
