Like for Lazarus_Long my latest visible Build in TestFlight is 2025-8.2 (Build 918). I’ve removed the Test Flight App, rebooted the device, re-autorised the Apple TV, re-installed the Test Flight, rebooted again and checked the Builds. But unfortunately no luck! 
So I a can say “Yes!” to this with all my heart!
You forgot one step: Reset and reload tvOS!
I’ve asked the team. They are in a meeting. I’ll get a reply when they’re done.
I think all of us would honestly like to see more frequent updates pushed to Testflight - would think they would want a larger group of testers (even if we don’t like the changes LOL)!

They do have another release coming. I can see the list getting shorter so assume they’ll release when it’s done/almost done ( there IS another list - haha)
It’s best for me to stay out here on this side of the fence (they might make me write code if I stay in there too long)
I gotta say that @ChuckPa is spending a lot of time trying to keep these threads on point and useful (so we can get data to the team on how to actually fix this boondoggle). He’s helping out outside of his normal remit (i think) and there may be errors… but after getting to know him, I strongly believe he means well and is trying to do right by everyone. so, please, a little grace.
A code freeze right now might be smart: as an engineering manager myself, I know that sometimes for a fast moving rewrite, getting to a sense of ‘stable’ but not ‘feature complete’ gives a better basis to judge what’s done and what’s not. It doesn’t mean a release… instead it could easily mean a “point in time” review.
Anyhow, i’m not a plex apologist, i’m also frustrated that there is such a gap and that there’s a strong risk they’re gonna follow the sonos playbook line-by-line, however it feels like the line-chefs (so to speak) are doing their hardest to try and keep it going.

This update fixed 12 major things since last build. The team is VERY busy
In the classical Apple TV Plex app, we can long press on a movie / episode to open the menu and delete the item from our storage. In the new beta version, this option is gone. We need it!
There’s an ongoing (at least a year!) issue of pressing play with a TV4K audio to a HomePod not playing (you have to click play 2-4 times for it to play).
Is that finally fixed?
