I just wish they’d admit that people who buy an Apple TV expect their video playback to work like standard Apple TV playback works. Obeys all device settings and uses the standard playback controls including responding to the remote correctly.
Generally I hate all the doom and gloom that goes on in these forums, but they’ve made it clear (like here and here) that they want to do things their way and that the only feedback they want is feedback on bugs in their preferred implementation and not any feedback on the actual design direction of the software (as I said a year ago).
