Apple remote support - appleRemote.m dead?

Hey Guys,

I’ve been digging around in the source code a bit trying to see what would need to be changed to support more functionality on the harmony remote using multiple remote codes instead of just the one + sequences.

I’m not all that familiar with Cocoa style programming, but searching around I find AppleRemote.cpp (which is basically PlexHelper app which I’ve been able to hack to treat different remote IDs), but also I find AppleRemote.m. My limited Cocoa knowledge seems to tell me that this stuff in appleRemote.m is dealing with Tiger and Leopard as it has both sets of codes, but apart from that it is very similar to AppleRemote.cpp.

Am I right in thinking that AppleRemote.m is dead code as far as Plex goes? All remote control handling is done via PlexHelper talking to Plex (the app) via a socket right?
