Apple Silicon Thread Support being locked for Plex being called out?

First it was threatened with a lock because “It has ceased being useful to the community” and

If you demand to talk to the Qt Group, you can start with their website: https://www.qt.io/ Good luck with that though; they ignore us even when we are trying to give them money.

So some RANDOM ASS user that DOES NOT have ANY BUSINESS contacts whatsoever and just contacts them through their CONTACT FORM just WROTE TO THEM CASUALLY.

Then YOU GET AN ANSWER BACK from Qt saying they’ll help and contradict what Plex Employee #1 has been feeding us.

So now that we actually made some progress because of this random ass user since the thread started all the way back in March 2022, Plex Employee #2 starts pulling a PR move about “hoping to collaborate in the future” and “please continue in my DMs if you wish” and locks the thread stopping the Qt employee from answering back, all that after Plex Employee #1 unprofessionally bitches them out.

That’s bananas.

Is this how Plex conducts business relationships?

That is not why the thread was locked. We’ve provided our comment on the situation. There’s nothing more to add. Any discussions with QT will be done internally and not in public.

There is a feature request thread for M1 client support. You can add comments there Plex Apple M1 native app (universal binaries) not Emulated.
