Hi all, Plex on Apple TV has randomly started refusing to Direct Play 4K files. I’ve tested it out with multiple files from my library, and all return the exact same logs as below:

I’ve tried restarting plex, restarting apple tv, multiple different files… all the same result. This used to work just fine and I’m at a loss as to why it no longer does.
I’ve done some googling and have tried to check all relevant settings:
- Direct Play is of course enabled on the client
- Streaming quality set to Original/Maximum
- Match Framerate and Match Dynamic Range are enabled in Apple TV settings
- Experimental Player is enabled
- Auto adjust quality is disabled
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Clamouring to watch Lord of the Rings
