Very simple request. We often watch playlists of random episodes, and being able to skip (as we can in other clients) would be very nice. Was actually shocked it wasn’t in there. Preferably using the ATV’s programmable skip button (so I can use the Harmony remote).
If it’s already in there somewhere, let me know, but I couldn’t find it.

Aside from universal search for ATV, skipping an episode (or any media) is the biggest missing feature for us.
We like to shuffle whole tv series like Seinfeld. When we’ve seen one recently we want to skip it, but can’t using the apple tv remote. If there is a way to do this we’d love to know it, otherwise, please add this feature to the tvos app!!
Another use: we have trailers turned on before movies, but they can get repetitive, showing the same one many times in a row. We’d like to be able to skip those when we want to.
Another use: playing items in a queue. As of now we have to scroll to the end of the credits of the current item to let the autoplay feature kick in.
