Apple TV: Live TV guide advert drop out

The Live TV guide on my Apple TV player will play a channel, then drop out of playing back to the guide when an advert comes on mid-way through the show. I have to click the remote again to load the channel back up. Anyone else experienced this ?

I have experienced this as well. I haven’t seen it with an advertisement but rather just watching; it goes to the guide, I click the center button, and it keeps going. Also on Apple TV

Seems like a definite bug in the guide to me. As mine drops out to the guide when the programme switches to an advert, seems like it may be due Plex being unable to handle a resolution / quality change, i.e adverts broadcast at different resolution / quality to the programme. @geosidi_plex
