Why is the live TV guide so bad on Apple TV? It’s either 2 days in advance or mostly blank for current time. This happens on all three of my Apple TVs.
Using Apple TV 4Ks with current client version and hard wired gigabit connections throughout my home. Running Plex on a Synology DS918 with HDHomeRun & plex version 1.29.2.6364.
Hello, I have similar experiences on my 2 ATVs. the guide ‘jumps’ around, it’s 12 hours in the future, or is just blank. Most of the time, I either have to select a library and go back or just force close the app, re-open, and then it’s fine.
I don’t need the fancy scrubbing/snap back of the guide. I just need it to be on the current time track when I select it.
I have submitted so many feature requests…
It’s very inconsistent… Typically, it resets to the top most channel. Can’t there be some sort of memory of where it last left off?
Also, why can’t we use page up/down controller functions(or FF/RW) to quickly navigate up and down the guide?
Agreed - me too.
I also find the guide can get in a tangle with where the cursor is, leading to the remote doing nothing which needs the app to be killed to regain control.
Plex is currently losing ground with my wife, who expects (not unrealistically) for simple things like remote navigation to just work.
